For wrinkle injections, we naturally use a high-quality, highly cross-linked filler that contains a substance found naturally in the body (HLS = hyaluronic acid). This substance is slowly broken down in or under the skin over the course of about a year and a half. Hyaluron, or hyaluronic acid, is a natural component of the skin and is found between the skin cells of the connective tissue. The acid helps our skin look plumper. In the face, the main component breaks down over time, leading to wrinkles or even volume loss, such as sunken cheeks.

With this type of wrinkle filler, there is no risk of visible and/or palpable lumps, as it is a natural component of the human body. It is important to emphasize that no long-term damage occurs with the use of hyaluronic acid and other fillers. Unlike products that remain permanently (permanent or semi-permanent) in or under the skin, Galderma/Restylane products are high-quality and safe.
